Leaders current and future
Youth Protection - It is now mandatory for you to take the Youth Protection online course at
www.myscouting.org before you can take any other leader training. It is a free course and takes only about 30 minutes. All leaders are required to take it, but, it is also valuable to you when you are participating in events with other Scouts besides your own. It gives you lots of information on protecting both the Scout and you from possible difficult situations. Once you have completed the course print out the certificate and bring it to your next Leader Specific training session.
If you are interested in being part of the Pack Committee, please join us on July 24th, after the Space Derby at the Scout house for a short meeting at noon.
Adult partners, please remember each month that your den leaders have to have any advancements and achievements into our pack advancement chair by the 15th. Please assist your leaders by turning in any earned belt loop, pin or advancement information into den leaders prior to this date to help the flow go smoothly and quickly. Write them down with your Scouts first and last name and turn them in each month. Thank you so much!
Summer break is coming up quickly. Every year we strive to make the Summer Time Participation Award. To do this we need as much pack attendance as possible at the Space Derby and Raingutter Regatta. These are really fun events for the Scouts that keeps them involved during the summer and gives them two great opportunities to be creative in making their rockets and boats. We will post the official rules for each event in plenty of time before the events. Stay tuned for more.

If you are interested in your Scout earning the God and Me achievement, please contact Reverend Cox at Beymer Memorial United Methodist for classes.
World Conservation Project - Take a picture of your Cub Scout wearing his class A uniform and holding a full recycling bin. Turn it in to your den leader to be included with our Pack conservation project.
